Hello everyone! Goodness I didn’t realize it had been so long since I’ve blogged. I need that bad blogger award again, 50 lashes with a wet noodle for me, lol. Tho, seriously, I have taken a long break from designing this year. I’ve really gotten back into my paper crafting so much of the time I had been devoting to designing has been devoted to crafting. I plan in the new year to start to offering some cut files for those with electronic die cutters such as the knk zing or other knk cutters, silhouette sd or cameo, black cat cougar or lynx, gazelle, etc. And some hybrid & printables for those without cutters. I’ve been using Make The Cut for use with my cutter and I so love it. It’s a great program with a great developer who offers the best customer service!!

So, on to why we are here today. It’s time again for my favorite blog train, the blog train blog’s Dec 2011 Traditions blog train. New Custom Blog Theme & Freebie :-)

My blog was long overdue for a makeover & I’ve never had a custom theme before. I had always used themes I found from other sites offering free wordpress themes. So…. I gave my blog a Christmas present, a new custom theme! What do you all think, doesn’t it look great?? I really love how it came out. The credit all goes to my friend and store owner at I Got Lucky Skraps, Kristi of oOohLaLa Scraps. We did use my Crayon Spring kit but the blog design was all Kristi. I love it!! Thank you so much Kristi!!! For those of you with wordpress blogs, keep an eye on her store at IGL, she may be offering this service in the near future ;-p

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!! I got a couple scrapping gifts, a Cricut Expression and the Make The Cut program to go with it. I’m very excited over these gifts and the new avenues it opens up for me & for you too as I am now learning how to make svg & cutting files that I hope to be able to share with you all very soon! I haven’t paper scrapped in ages & I am so happy to be doing it again!

How was your Thanksgiving & are you all ready for Christmas?? I’m not sure if I am or not, lol, let’s just say I’m getting there. It’s always such a busy month for everyone. We had a big family Thanksgiving the Saturday before & I cooked a small dinner at home on Thanksgiving day. We’re still trying to eat up the leftovers, lol

I’m Back & An Exciting Announcement

Wow, I didn’t realize it had been so long since I had posted here. I did take a break from designing as I had so much going on in my offline life, I just didn’t have the time to devote to it that I wanted. I’m back now & working on some new stuff, a couple new kits & some new cu products.
I do have an exciting announcement – I have a new store I’m so proud to be a part of. So, how about a guess my new store contest. Post your guesses in the comments, 3 guesses per person.
